Hey, there's only one sure way to find out. Whatever

You're not listening, Dan, which is a requirement for being profound rather

than merely knocking off glib imitations of the rhetoric of enlightenment. I

knew I could say what I did, but I noted that according to San's account of

realization doing so is impossible. Therefore, San's account is false.

Alright, alright, alright! That's enough! :-) Actually Gary does live in

my old neighborhood in Walnut Creek, California. >>

I really love Walnut Creek.....specially eating at Lark Creek Inn, (great

spoofed up meatloaf!) and well, the shopping. I never did spot the

creek.....or, rather, the ditch where the creek should be. Is there one?

<G> San Leandro (where I am) has a creek...no water as of yet.

I agree....I think mania is as close as it gets to 'real' without being

'real'....sheesh even defining real vs unreal is a trick of the mind and

taints the experience, giving that 'the boot'. Ramana rules :)

There is no such thing as partial realisation. One could have spiritual

'highs' which seem like the real Mccoy, but I suspect what Ramana talks

about realisation is the real thing. :-)

Thanks for sharing your requirements

and expectations, Gary.

Or, therefore you missed something

that San was saying.

I know very little about Buddhism so my musings

on this topic would be even more worthless than

usual.
