Guest guest
Hiya Jan, Jambo! - Jan Sultan <SNIP> There is a gentle, loving, peace-filled silence here and now in this moment. It has always been this way. It is always here. It is right here within you and all around you, a stillness, an apparent void, a seeming nothingness out of which everything arises, exists, and eventually returns. San: Is this from the site, or through "Jan Sultan"? ---- You know this. You have felt this. San: Ahaaa, the fall from Eden. "You" can never know silence. "You" can never feel silence. Whatever the 'you" knows or feels as silence is not silence. Silence is not absence of noise. Silence is the absence of the self cognizing silence as silence. In which case, who knows, feels or experiences silence? ------- There is nothing more than this. San: For this statement to be made the "maker" of the statement, the "affirmer", the 'asserter' has to, perforce be apart from that "nothing" in order to observe that there is nothing more than that "nothing", wouldn't it? Which thus negates the statement. Same issue with the statement Consciousness is All. ---------- You are this. San: <s> You are that too. And you that which is not this and not that, too. "This" has no relevance except in it's contextual duality of "that". --- This is not some esoteric spiritual jargon about some new age philosophy or any religion or belief. San: LOL Open the lips and only jargon can flow. Cease the opening of lips and jargon is stopped from flowing. What's the difference? ----------- There is nothing here which is mystical. San: Meaning? Who is noting this fact in the "here"? To whom is mystical, "mystical",(however that is defined) that a "here" is judged as non-mystical? --------- There are just these words and you and the silence. San: Are they? Or is there the "silence" expressing through a "you", through a "me" and the resultant inter-alia dialogue needing the medium of words, the medium is born. As-if. ------ Chikoooo Chikooooo Chikooooo goes the silence. Sandeep
