Purposelessness - Bliss

Hi Dan,

Is bliss relaxation?

Or, am I, again, missing the point -

That there is no point?

Not pointless,

But no point

No words

No silence, even

Yes, silence, not there, because

Silence can't squeeze in -

Just doesn't fit.

It's too big,

Too noisy,

And a little clumsy.

But Ahh... to relax -

And there I go again! Seeking.

But relaxation -

Is that partying too -

Because it's not purposelessness?

Hmmm....

Never mind.

Sometimes, I think I have a question, but the next moment, it just

seems so silly. Hmmm...

Maybe, I'm thinking too much - do you think? :-) Help -

MaryEllen.

Hi MaryEllen,

> Is bliss relaxation?

What if you're at work, typing up a report

that's due in an hour? Blissful relaxation

will just interfere.

Doing what needs to be done ...

And not doing what doesn't need to be done ...

What's that called?

Openness to/as what is.

The bliss/relaxation is the openness itself,

not an experience.

There is no point, and that no point

is infinite points.

Quite so!

Okay. :-)

Yes.

The original openness has never been disturbed.

It doesn't need to be reclaimed.

You don't even relax into it, because

it's already fully open, and you seemingly

appear within it -- yet it has no " within " ...

As you said, no point, and not pointless,

so nothing within or without ...

No, I don't think so :-)

You only seem to be thinking, when you think

there's a knower who can know that it's thinking :-)

The knower is just another thought.

And thought can't catch itself, can't really know

that it's being thunk!

Nothing to know, no knower, just open ...

Reminds me of Andy Kaufman singing

" Here I come to save the day,

Mighty Mouse is on his way! "

Afraid he can't help much now, though! :-)
