Dear Dan,

Thank you for your perfect question. I don't know the answer. Sometimes the experience of this particular body-mind sees and experiences the obviousness of no-separation between me and you, someone across the room says exactly what I wanted to say, syncronicities...resonance. At other times I find myself avoiding a particular person, usually because they are expressing a threat of somekind. At other times I see and experience the stong impulse to move toward someone I percieve as having something I want....in an assumption that I don't already have it....like my spiritual teacher, for example. I see this movement and understand it to be nothing more than a system of wireing in this body-mind...vasanas arising to be burned. Less and less do I take anything personally.

I suspect that what you are pointing to is no experiencer. Can you answer your own questions for me in words?

Hi Jill --

> Thank you for your perfect question.

Aw, shucks. Flattery will get you everywhere!

> I don't know the answer. Sometimes the experience of this

particular body-mind sees and experiences the obviousness of no-

separation between me and you,

How is this comment being made?

Is observation of the experience of a particular

body-mind occurring from within that body-mind

or from outside of it? Where is the situation

of the point from which the observation is occurring?

Is the observation part of the experience of non-separation,

or is the observation outside of it?

If it is part of the experience, then how can it know

about what it is, if it is occurring now -- how

can it move apart from itself, to know that it is

an experience and what it is an experience of?

If it is not part of the experience, then how can there

be nonseparation, as one already has the observer

of the experience, and the experience ...

> someone across the room says exactly what I wanted to say,

syncronicities...resonance. At other times I find myself avoiding a

particular person, usually because they are expressing a threat of

somekind.

Yes -- there is seeming attraction and repulsion, and so

apparent experience constructs ... at the same time,

the experience is of attraction or repulsion --

so is the experience really constructed?

Is there really any movement toward or away, ever?

> At other times I see and experience the stong impulse to move

toward someone I percieve as having something I want....in an

assumption that I don't already have it....like my spiritual teacher,

for example.

Yes, that's a good example of how this apparent

dynamic works.

>I see this movement and understand it to be nothing more than a

system of wireing in this body-mind...

Again, as noted above -- how is this comment being made?

From where is this observation occurring? From inside

or outside the body-mind and its wiring?

> vasanas arising to be burned. Less and less do I take anything

personally.

How can you know this?

How can you assess when something is being taken

personally or not?

Where are you making that assessment from,

when you compare this experience with a

previous experience?

> I suspect that what you are pointing to is no experiencer. Can you

answer your own questions for me in words?

Yes.

But then, it's just another answer being provided

in words.

And none of those provide truth.

The concept that one is neither inside nor outside,

remains a concept seemingly imparted from

here to there.

The idea that there can be no way to know an experience,

or for there to be an experience that is known,

is yet an idea that seemingly is experienced

by being read.

Love,

Dan
