Hi everyone .. I have just joined this group so Im winging it a bit. I was drawn to come here as I have been a member of another for about 12 months (pagan related) and realised last week that I have learnt very little in the time Ive been there. So Im looking forward to getting to know you all and will include a little about myself, hoping you will reciprocate:

Im a 48 year old single woman living about an hour from Brisbane on 17 acres of bushland. I share my home with 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 horses, some chooks, 8 pet rats and a one-winged owl (rescue/road accident victim) .. also various koalas and birds and other wildlife who visit here. My interests are reading, writing, photography, Irish Water Spaniels (a rare breed of gundog), Arabian horses, craft eg. decoupage, sewing etc. I have been on an intense spiritual path since 1995 when I was very ill and had a near death experience. I used to read Dennis Wheatley books at the age of 15 and probed around a little for "something more" at that time. Since 1995 my path has been fast tracked and I have had many "unusual" experiences, all designed, I believe, to bring me to a "knowing" as opposed to a "belief". If there is anything else you would like to know about me, please ask :o)

It sounds beautiful.

How close do the koalas let you approach?

Blessing,
