Guest guest
well it was AWESOME !!! I thoroughly enjoyed it and deeply appreciated the skills and energy that were put on display. It started off quietly and progressed sort of like a story of what is done at the temple, with various displays of meditative quiet moments, acrobatics, amazing feats of strength, and kadas. The troop consisted of 3 elders, approx 14 young men and two young boys (who were absolutely fantastic!)It really touched the spiritual nature of their path and if you knew anything about martial arts and the temple you got an awful lot from it - there were a lot of people there and I wondered if they were really following/appreciating it but even if they didnt the displays and the lighting/costumes were unreal. Seeing the men raise their power before doing some of the more intricate items in the program (ie. breaking steel bars over their heads was just one thing) .. was amazing, I could feel their energy. Most awesome was one of the elders coming on and doing a kada that looked simple, but it only looked "simple" because it was done with absolute perfection, I really enjoyed his segment. It made me want to get into QuiGong once again, I did karate for 4 years then really wanted to move on to QuiGong but the only instructor I could find was in Brisbane and it was just too difficult for me (financially and distance-wise) to continue after I had been for a couple of lessons. What a great show, I thoroughly recommend it !!! ... blessings and love .. deb
