Guest guest
hello all, I saw answers with great pointers to club-members toward working on the collapsing of the myriads of 'egos' [ I call them phantom ego ] by Dan Berkov, Sandeep Ch.. and the bests, including how to take the *right* first step by Gene Poole. [ I think what I posted yesterday by Gene has one ] Alton and I know a woman; Gabrielle Ebert, who can lead one through Ramana's vichara successfully. She is also deeply Catholic, and with an insight and *understanding*she can point it out where the Catholic doctrine meets Advaita [ not a mutated bigot who's brain does not work right and makes wrong associations] I belive, that Nome and his partner at Sat Ramana can lead you through the tedious and vigilant work of undermining the ego-system. But I did not see any from Judi in action, and to be an effective 'teacher'; that is needed, not insulting oneliners [ and those without a good timing ]. I wish Judi would map up and put in words her nervous breakdown or as Rob referred to it; her Dark Night of the Soul, which could lead others through this process the way it happened to her. Dan, who is her friend can put it in words, if Judi can not for us, if he knows it; I would really appreciate that. To state that she offers something better than PapaJi did: who IN REALITY did lead his disciples through the process and I am sure some of them were able to keep their *understanding* *awareness* with the vigilant state; is claim I don't belive, but I am open to listen. Self is only Being - not being this or that. It is Simple Being. BE, and There is the end of ignorance. Guest guest
Dear Karta, > I wish Judi would map up and put in words her > nervous breakdown or as Rob referred to it; her > Dark Night of the Soul, which could lead others > through this process the way it happened to her. Just to clarify, I have no idea whether Judi had a nervous breakdown or a Dark Night of the Soul or anything of the kind. I mentioned Dark Nights of the Soul as a general phenomenon only because you said something about a nervous breakdown. I have no idea whether Judi experienced anything of the sort. I think she died, could not move I took care of girl-friend once to whom this happened at a spiritual gathering: she couldn't even walk her face was placid for days. We called it back than *an entity left* her. In non-dual terminology this would be: when the most dominating ego dies, or more at once, what were animating the body. Christians called it the Dark night of the Soul, and psychiatry calls it a nervous breakdown Same happens through meditation, but it is feels like lightening like something was lifted.. it is not so drastic.. awareness-love, Karta

I-dentity imploded into itself. I remained quite awake, clear and sober through the whole "dying" process. Voila!
