Hi all,

OK, so you're walking along, minding your own business when you

happen to trip over someone who is deeply asleep. You can tell just

by looking at them that they've swallowed so much crap they are about

to slip into a coma from which they will probably never recover.

What do you do?

Sing them a lullaby? Feed them some more crap? Or give them a good

slapping?

It seems to me that Judi is very good at slapping people right where

it hurts - and surely the more pain caused the less likely someone is

to go on sleeping.

What thanks does she get? Just a load of whining:

" leave me alone, that hurt "

" just 'cause you're awake that doesn't mean the rest of us want to be "

" I'm having a really great dream here and I want to tell all the

other dreamers about how great and superior my dream is so they will

all approve of me "

" I'm dreaming that I'm awake and that's much more comfortable than

actually having to open my eyes "

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

********* Hi Tanya, well the thing is, most of these folks on these lists are not really interested in waking up, that much should be fairly obvious. They have other motives.

"Waking the hell up" requires a certain gutsy maturity in relation to themselves. The desire has to be there. And that desire comes from suffering, from going around the block so many times. And *if* and until it ever dawns on them that they're just spinning their wheels going nowhere with "themselves", such that they can actually "begin" and "endure" the process of self investigation, they're still all about "whining". Their game is "self defense", NOT actually self-investigation, which takes GREAT and profound desire to be able to cut through it, to put themselves "on the line". Hence, the End of the Rope Ranch:

This is a list for realizers and mature humans who aspire to such realization. It is for those that have been around the block one too many times and are now ready and willing to really start looking at the truth of and in themselves, at the ignorant suffering that's keeping them mired in the "seeker" identity and role. This is not a refuge for the emotionally immature or for those with psychological problems to work out -- the inveterate self-improvers, the humor-impaired, the "New Age" spirituality hobbyists and those merely seeking attention by gabbing about how blissful, happy, loving, smart, or even how dumb they think they are simply need not apply here.

This is a list for those ready to cut through their own games, for those willing to wholeheartedly put themselves on the line for the undermining and the understanding of that whole nonsensical separate adventure in its entirety -- and it's for sharing the humor, the love, and the pure joy of finally realizing our true, newborn perceptual condition, a state that is not separation, but rather wholeness, freedom, consciousness itself.

To those with hearts so moved, we invite you.
