My young boyo Khaan .. playing .. running around the paddock, tearing back up to me and screaming to a halt 3 inches in front of me, snorting in my face with his head held high and tail cocked over his back. Then turning away and trotting off with that incredible extended " Ive got springs on my feet " trot, levitating himself a foot off the ground with each step, he appears to linger there, as if suspended in a moment of time .. it is just so incredibly beautiful, the tears roll down my cheeks. I feel so priveledged to be witness to such a display of innocent perfection. Something so big, so powerful, so intelligent, yet utterly full of love and trust .. he melts as I speak softly to him and he puts his face to mine, and kisses me, big slobbery horse kisses blahh ) They are fascinating Onnika, and captivating, I never tire of watching him. blessings on you .. deb x x x
Guest guest
Yes, it's their free energy that makes them so. I first noticed that one day when my high school class was being bused to its usual track and field for phys ed. In a quiet mood, I looked out of the window merging with the scenery and enjoyed by buzz and the bounce of the bus. Around me were the common high school conversations, the boys' insulting quips and the girls makeup and boys. When the bus stopped to let us out to practice our racing on the track, most of the riders stepped out complaining and downcast and physically tired, not wanting to run. But, I came out like a young horse, the energy in my body in the patterns of thanking the grass and the sky for giving me a place to dance.
