Your dialogue with Ganga on the meditation list had me laughing. Funny stuff! You get right to the heart of it. And poor Bob, doing what he can to validate everyone equally. It's another version of Harsha's trip: everyone is beautiful in their own way. It's hilarious the way he ignores all her insidious self-oriented slashing -- all because she approves of mediation. Who needs insight, when you can just be a happy meditator and validate everyone as beautiful? Well, they see everyone as beautiful, and are happy to be realized, until you step on their toes. Then they start doing things like trying to stick in a jab when they think no one is looking, or try to ignore the truth that is being stated, by pretending everyone is beautiful. I wonder if you remember how it all started. As I remember it, Ganga posted some Ramana quotes on samadhi and silence and the difference between sleep and samadhi and whatever. Somehow the Ramana quote drew Jody to remark that Ganga in the act of speaking was showing herself not to be in silence. Judi then joined in, asking Jody why he was wasting his time with that stupid woman. It took off from there. A lot of good fun. Especially since, to my mind, Ganga seemed well able to return tit for tat in this pile on. But I was wondering, since you mention that the meditators who say everything is beautiful show their thin skin when they are criticised, what you think of the agressive vituperations of the insight people who roam the lists throwing mud pies. My guess: They want to make sure no one thinks they're mixed up in any of this callow love-your-fellow-man stuff. Harvey

While it is their claim to fame what a sad commentary that is. What is the problem about Mother Theresa? If someone can find fault there, then they can find fault anywhere they look. From her comment if Mother Theresa were on the net judi would in fact go tooth and nail at her. What does this say about judi? Is it that anyone that is down and dirty without a care for anyones feelings is a saint. Now That IS sick... Why is it that when they do put downs and go for the jugular they are simply pointing out where ego is. If you respond it is a personal problem? If you don't they gloat how they got on over on you. And people really go for their total nonsense. There is nothing they can touch at all . Although they gloat and laugh thinking to themselves that they have been so brilliant. What is so wise about going on any list simply to cast stones and to play devils advocate ? Tell me how people have actually come to any sort of idea that this type of behavior is enlightened ? Do they Really believe that we have any fear over their petty nonsense? Or that it means anything other than it being total and complete garbage ? The strong ones can fling it back and then some. But there are some that could be severely hurt by this type of b.s. If they want to fling then go for the gusto with someone that can go toe to toe and leave the others alone. If this is your sick game ? If this is the way you get your jolly's . What a pitiful world that must be to live within. Like the saying goes their's a sucker born every minute. Maybe dominatrix judi is trolling for masochists. She doesn't need a whip she just slashes them with her vicious tongue.

Amazing how bold judi gets when ganga is not around. Amazing how the coward turns everything totally backwards. Anyone can go to the site and see the truth of it. The one that turned tail was judi and not ganga. You know it might serve you better to boast about something other than what other people can check out for themselves. Oh what a tangled web you weave. I gain more respect for ganga as this unfolds. Having looked at the site for myself I can see that judi is all wet on her boast and that she has in Fact turned the tale around 180 degrees. Talk about being deluded and delusional. I suggest that anyone that wants to know the truth of it look at the site themselves.

I suppose as long as she has some guppies, some "enablers" over there, she'll keep it up. That's her "gig" and she hangs on like a mad dog with his bone. It's sad really. If you can't see the self serving cowardism of that I don't what else to you. Sorry to disappoint you but I really can't find any cowardice within that at all but it appears to be the act of a very mature individual. It appears that self serving cowardism lies with the one that felt the need to go after her in the first place. > Perhaps it's time for you to take a deeper look at the game she's playing. > " Yogis " and their Samadhi is the biggest joke of all. A Yogi is one that is yoked or achieved what is termed a union with God. It is defined as " the restraint of mental modifications " ..Samadhi as in the case of NirvikalpaSahaja Samadhi is an unbroken Awareness without mental modifications. It IS one that is resting and living as Realized. You claim Realization ? Is the term Samadhi offensive simply because it isn't couched in an acceptable humanistic psychology way that you can accept? Perhaps this problem with words simply shows your unfamiliarity with how this equates with your psychology type of outlook. It appears you are reading into it something other than what it is. > > Here, from Ramesh: > > " The guru who helps you escape from sorrow by prescribing procedures and methods is not an enlightened guru. A true sage requires that you face your sorrow so thoroughly and intimately that it disappears in the very understanding of itself. " > > Judi That my dear is His way of teaching. Sri Ramana gave Nan Yar that is a way of indeed once again facing your self and it's fallacy. Neti Neti is also another way. So is Ramesh the only 'true' and enlightened one simply because it resonates with you ? Surely you cannot believe that his way and your way of do nothing is the only way . And this doing nothing is Not a doing nothing. In any way of " facing of your sorrows " you can say it is a method or in fact a procedure. The fact that it is 'facing' and encountering shows an action which may be equated with a 'Method' . Just because you prefer to hear things in a more updated psychology speak doesn't mean really that it is any different than the more traditional ways of relating what happens. These ways and means are quite valid. So is Zen, or Vipassana, or Meditation. They give ways to bring someone to enough of a settled state to see the mind and it's workings. Then the delving deep may begin. It can and does end in the dispelling of all illusions of a self. They can and do bring death to the self image and holdings. It seems you think that samadhi equates out with some blissful trance state. This shows your lack of knowledge in this area. It has nothing to do with that on the higher levels. It simply is a way to say it is an ongoing and unhindered consciousness without fluctuations . In many paths once a deeping occurs and a ripeness is reached, there comes the moment of confrontation - surrender - and death. Many paths take one up to the point of that eventuality. They take you to the point of exhausting all other avenues and by then you are indeed ready for the confrontation for there is no other avenue to take. I think on this issue you are simply preferring to wear blinders rather than looking into it thoroughly. Reacting blindly rather than taking the time to " understand " the ramifications of what is being said by other teachers - sages - and traditions. I suppose as long as she has some guppies, some " enablers " over there, she'll keep it up. That's her " gig " and she hangs on like a mad dog with his bone. It's sad really. She's obviously got some very deep wounds. > > Judi Yes, it's so. End of the Rope Ranch was listed over and over again . How you can say that she is looking for guppies is really laughable. Do you not see your persona in the mirror you attempt to put on Ganga? It looks like from here that what you accuse her of you are much more culpable in. I daresay many have called you on your own apparent game but all falling on deaf ears it seems. Looking at the posts it has been noted that she says that there is no longer any suffering for her and that it is indeed possible to get beyond it. So perhaps that is in fact true . Perhaps her motivation lies simply within the fact that she wishes to say that it " is " possible to transcend suffering. So what problem have you with that ? It doesn't appear that she is the one with deep wounds. Rather the one that is attempting to wound her is the one harboring the malcontent and wounding. It appears that many lists have these roving gangs with street like mentalities. Either everyone tows the line in their mode of thinking or else. It takes a strong sense of balance to be able to buck that type of tide without going off center. So it just might be quite conceivably that she is where she speaks of. Isn't it the fact that the anti-gurus are in fact just extensions of the same thing. Anyone that has a list ( and most of these anti-gurus do) and is attempting to teach something or shed light is in fact a guru under the definition of the word. It seems that it is simply another matter of semantics at best. It appears that she is simply being honest about it and not resorting to the back door methods of let me tell you, but remember I am not a guru. Let me pummel you or assault you over and over again with my definitions, pointing, verbalizations, conceptualizations: but remember I am not a guru and take no responsibility for what is said because you are on your own brother. End of "story". How you can say that she is looking for guppies is really laughable. Do you not see your persona in the mirror you attempt to put on Ganga? It looks like from here that what you accuse her of you are much more culpable in. ********** Nope, like I said, you're missing the point. I daresay many have called you on your own apparent game but all falling on deaf ears it seems. Looking at the posts it has been noted that she says that there is no longer any suffering for her and that it is indeed possible to get beyond it. So perhaps that is in fact true . So what problem have you with that ? ********* Seriously Manju, you're not looking deep enough, her promotion of her "non-suffering" IS in fact her suffering. It's nonsense Manju, and some of us who have been there, done that, can see through it. And the proof of the pudding is when it's pointed out to her, what in fact she's doing, she "bristles". She screams as a matter of fact, and then gets on her high horse of how she's beyond it all. :-) How much more obvious does it have to be? Seriously, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. This is subtle stuff and the seeker who has his mind set on getting "beyond" it all, buys into it, hook, line and sinker.
