My IQ was measured at 71, but thanks to hard work and my parents' encouragement, I finished high school and became the moderator of my very own mail group! - " mark_twain11 " <unbound <Realization > Monday, April 21, 2003 2:00 PM Re: the ghost of One / Rob > > Dear Tanya wrote in snip: > I do have great intelligence though, my IQ's about 146 which puts me > in the top 0.4% of the population so maybe that's why I understand > her better - > > Ramana aka Alton: > My IQ was recorded at 104 and somehow I understand Judi also, so > maybe it has nothing to do with IQ. > > I understand her to be all she can be, which is nothing special. > > Love, > Ramana > >

Your joking? Would you say that because of your low IQ that Self Realizaiton would be more easily facilitated. If a persons IQ is low then surely they will have an easier time giving up the ghost of the ego as the mind will not be smart enough to be in a protection mode. If the aforesaid it true then there is hope for me. Love, Ramana Maharshi

Dunno. If I had to guess, I'd guess that it's harder for people with higher IQs. Love, Rob

LOL! God bless your parents. As long as there are compassionate parents such as these in the world, will never lack for groups.

It is not the I.Q. itself, it is its use in the direction of its own demise. The death of the knower isn't an accomplishment, so no I.Q. is involved in that. But the readiness factor includes emotion and intelligence showing that no escape can be made, and that reality very likely is not what is being construed as experience. The death of the knower opens as the intelligence that is the universe. This living intelligence can't be measured, so it can't be given an I.Q. -- it's not situated anywhere where it can be given a test. It's all pervasive and never has a starting point, so it can't be anyone's property. -- Dan
