Guest guest
hi, did anyone see the movie the Mothman with Richard Gere? it will be repeated on HBO tomorrow I don't belive in karma, I see " It " happen and hit at random and usually hit the weakest link; the currency is= suffering...and I saw strange " sacrifices " , deaths happen around a sat-guru; before & after powerful satsangs and this always puzzled me who " pays " for the *awakening* of ¿¿¿ I want input on the 'karma' side of the movie: ss I understood it: disasters happened many people died and 1 seemed to *Wake up* in syncronicity with these events. Something to do with the balance.. the Tao is my huntch but I was hoping the wise ones will comment on this The Mothman Prophecies are based on supposedly true events. John Klein (R. Gere) is a respected Washington journalist being driven home by his wife when they are involved in an extraordinary accident Mary slams on the brakes although there is nothing in the road and, tragically, she dies When clearing away his dead wife's effects, Klein finds a pad of line drawings showing a strange giant moth-like creature. Some time later he is driving from Washington to Richmond on an assignment and ends up lost on a deserted highway. His car inexplicably breaks down and he walks to a nearby house only to find that he is now in Point Pleasant which is some four hundred miles away. The have been several sightings of a strange moth-man in the vicinity similar to his wife's drawings and he decides to stay and investigate. Little does he know that a serious tragedy is about to befall the community. This is a strange film made in a X-Files style as the reporter investigates the strange manifestations of the Mothman. He even speaks with the creature and his dead wife appears part way through the film. Local residents have dreams and predict future disasters. He is tormented and filled with dread but de does not know why until the final dramatic climax. This is a very well made film which we can recommend to anyone interested in the supernatural and explicable. <http://zaaaaaap.tripod.com/mothman.html> Karta
