Guest guest
But according to Ramana, this is ego stuff? Not if there are no longer "I" thoughts!!! Remember Ramana healed that guy with the snake bite. The cosmic energy flowing through Ramana did the healing. Ramana didnt "heal" him, the cosmic energy didnt "heal" him .. the man was bought to Ramana with an expectation he would be healed .. picture the scene, the man gets bitten and his friends say "lets take him to Ramana, he will heal him". The Australian aborigines believe that if the tribal "witchdoctor" points the bone at you, you will die! Is the power in the bone, in the person pointing it, or in the person who was pointed at? When you advance in your concentration and practice, you can cure many disease by mere touch. But its not the prana which cures, its the receiver's belief in the one administering the prana. If the receiver is ready, and seriously desirous of being cured, and believes that the healer will cure him, he will be cured. When you cut yourself and it heals isn't it the Prana that does the healing? No its not the prana doing the healing, its the little blood cells racing to the area, replacing the evil damaged cells with new living cells .. the instruction that makes these blood cells race to that area comes from the body ie. the brain initially, but the first healing thought has to come from higher consciousness, one has to want to be healed, then, one can draw on god/the creative force/prana for that creative spark which will enable you to produce new cells ... there are people who jump out of planes whose parachutes dont open and they survive, defying all the rules of what a physical body can tolerate, they survive because at a higher level, they want to. The same with all healings, miraculous or not. People like Brazilian man "Arigo, Surgeon of the Rusty Blade" http://www.nybooks.com/articles/9432 are a little more difficult to explain .. you say Ramana performed healings through the mind, Arigo could actually put his fingers through flesh, remove tumors, then close the wound instantly. Arigo was about as different from Ramana as anyone could be, he drank heavily. Both were powerful "healers" but did they use prana to heal .. no .. they were dynamic beings who were capable of altering a) the mind patterns, and b) the physical cellular structure of another. I think the word enlightenment is wrongfully employed when we speak of people like Ramana and Arigo, to me they are, as just stated, dynamic beings with an exceptional unexplainable gift. They were no closer to god, or bliss, than you or I, they were simply blessed with charisma and the right place and time to be recognised. In the advanced stage, many diseases are cure by mere will. Disease can only be cured by the owner of the disease. How about "it takes two to tango". It can take two (diseased person and healer), or it can take three (diseased person, healer, and god) .. or .. it can take one... it always only ever comes back to one. Isnt this the "grand secret" all the gurus try to drum into us ???? Aloha, Alton
Guest guest
Alton is in blue this round. I am pleased that you have definite opinions. If we keep this up what will it prove? The Australian aborigines believe that if the tribal "witchdoctor" points the bone at you, you will die! Is the power in the bone, in the person pointing it, or in the person who was pointed at? When you advance in your concentration and practice, you can cure many disease by mere touch. How about agreeing that it is a mystery to us? The same with all healings, miraculous or not. People like Brazilian man "Arigo, Surgeon of the Rusty Blade" http://www.nybooks.com/articles/9432 are a little more difficult to explain .. you say Ramana performed healings through the mind, Arigo could actually put his fingers through flesh, remove tumors, then close the wound instantly. I will post my experience with a psychic healer that studied in the Philipines. That is if I can find it. In the advanced stage, many diseases are cured by mere will. Have you cured your illnesses. If not is it because you are unworthy? That is all one can conclude when the spiritual healers fail to cure a person. LIST............
Guest guest
I brought two cats back to life using this method, but only cats. Then, I found out that they have nine lives so they would have come back, anyway. I know how a body makes itself die by expectation or hopelessness. I forgot the name of the chemical but in humans it usually is a slow process and in little animals, it can be done in the hour. What is it in the body that immediately restores health?
