What then is the purpose of realisation or ultimate understanding, other than to let the body mind concept know of its limited existence? If this is so? Then what difference could it possibly make to the true self whether this body mind concept is happy or despairing? Love Peter

S; No purpose, including to let the body-mind concept know of it's limited existence. After a dream in the night-sleep, while awake in the morning sipping a hot cup of tea, do you need to tell one of your dreamed characters in your last night dream, of it's limited existence? P: If this is so? Then what difference could it possibly make to the true self whether this body mind concept is happy or despairing? S: The body-mind complex is never happy or unhappy. Yes it can experience a sense of pain or a sense of pleasure. It is the me-entity" to whom happinnes and it's pursuit, unhappiness and it's avoidance, are relevant. Whatever be the particular game the "me-entity" is upto, it makes no difference to the Impersonal functioning through the body-mind complex. Guest guest
Dear Peter, The statement " the true self is perfect, therefore cannot be altered in any way " means nothing if said by an " imperfect self " , considering itself as being altered. If it is said by an imperfect self, the statement is merely clinging to an ideal, a concept taken for truth. If the statement is said by " the true self " , then the statement need not be made, for the true self, being apparent everywhere, has no need to explain itself to itself. As the " the true self " is, beyond any statement to be made (for there can be no true statement " about " what is omnipresent), there is no center whatsoever " in " a body-mind, hence no question can be entertained about a difference being made, or not being made, by a body mind concept being happy or despairing. A concept cannot be " in " a feeling state, a concept doesn't " have " feelings. The imputation of feelings to a concept is simply another concept. Guest guest
Dear Sandeep, Well-said and quite clear. It has been named " Impersonal " precisely because investing in or with such games couldn't pertain ... It has been named only because a " game player " supposed itself to be able to be implied by " games being played " ... Love, Dan S: The body-mind complex is never happy or unhappy.
