Hi there

I do hope you had a great weekend

And with the dawning of a new year 2004,

I was feeling inspired to invite your along for a walk as we EXPLORE NATURE THROUGH INTUITION.

So if you are in the Cape Town area this weekend...a little invitation is offered.

 

We did a few walks together as a group of friends,

back in May 2003, a way of sharing & reconnecting with nature.

So do join us and bring a friend or two.

 

On Saturday 7th February at 08h30 (hope not early for some)

you are invited to join us as we venture off for a morning walk along the Pipe track above Camps Bay.

Time 3 hours.A gentle stroll with both breath-taking views of the Twelve Apostles and

of Camps Bay gets me inspired every time.

It is one of the best – known hikes in Cape Town and certainly one of the oldest,

for the pipe track was constructed in 1887 to lay the pipeline from

the proposed reservoirs on Table Mountain to Kloof Neck.

Work began in the same year on the Woodhead Tunnel to which the track leads.

 

Bring along a picnic late breakfast and sufficient water.

Directions…

If you are coming from Tamboerskloof side Cape Town,

we will meet at the parking area on the left hand side at Kloof Nek.

This is the junction that would take you left to the Cable Car and right to Signal Hill.
