101 reason why not to kill animals and eat them

 

1. They were our mothers in a previous life according to the

Tibetans.

2. You can get mad cow disease from cows.

3. You can get e-coli from cows.

4. You can get trichinosis from pork.

5. They don't like to be slaughtered.

6. We are one with them in Reality.

7. I hate to hear them scream.

8. They all wailed when one of them died.

9. It is very cruel.

10 We might have to experience the pain we caused them.

11. It is downright evil to kill sentient beings.

12. The yogis say not to.

13. I would not do it myself.

14. I feel guilty about having someone else do it.

15. You can get heart disease from eating them.

16. Our bodies can be very healthy on a vegetarian diet.

17. It is not the right thing to do.

18. We may in the future be born as them.

19. There are now artificial leathers like substances.

20. Did you ever look them in the eye.

21. I hate pain so why should I cause it to animals.

22. They want to live and be happy just like us.

23. The Vegans think it is not nice.

24. They are shot up with antibiotics.

25. They are shot up with steroids.

26. It is not right to keep them as slaves and then kill them.

27. Burnt offerings wont cleanse our sins.

28. Anyone who says it is ok to kill them is rationalizing.

29. People who kill them can earn a living doing something else.

30. They eat up too much grains so that vegetarians have to pay a

higher price for grains.

31. The land that they graze on can be used to grow food for humans.

32. Their droppings breed flies and maggots.

33. The worst use that you can put sentient beings to is to kill

them.

34. I just don't believe what the bible said about it being ok to

kill them.

35. Although I was raised that way I think my parents were not very

conscious about it.

37. I would not like to be there when they are slaughtered.
