Guest guest
Dear Dipamkara: We all pay roles according to our mental impressions over many lifetimes. What ever is happening with kk is right in his chart and the same for all members here IMHO. You are free to post your impressions of God and Guru and so am I. If Rob thinks that any of my posts are inappropriate because they key members into their self limiting attachments he has at least two options, i.e. moderation or banning. I dont think he will use either option because he seems to have a sense of my mission, which is to free souls of spiritual hang-ups. Now, would you like to address issues that make you want to leave the group? It might be very quite unburdening for your sadhana. I love you, KK aka Alton aka M.T. p.s Dear Rob: Does it hurt to have member leave because of yours truly? I mean when it happened on Miles's Ramana group he sent me an F dash dash dash hate e-mail. That shook me up because it was unexpected. Now I defend my ego by expecting almost everything. rof. Love you too, kk Re: The Perfect Guru..Final Version > What possible relationship do you have with www.realization.org? I am the editor and publisher of it (or was before I stopped adding new material about three years ago). There was a time when several people who wrote for the site occasionally read and posted messages here, but so far as I know all of them are gone. This forum has been pretty much moribund for over a year. > Why do you speak so disrespectfully of me? Guest guest
Hi Alton, > I dont think he will use either option because > he seems to have a sense of my mission, which > is to free souls of spiritual hang-ups. Uh, no, Alton, I don't share this view of your "mission." I would characterize your behavior in a quite a different way which is much less flattering. > Does it hurt to have member leave because of > yours truly? Each time somebody leaves I get a little pang of guilt that I haven't fulfilled my responsibilities as the moderator. A good moderator, in my opinion, makes efforts to establish a certain kind of social atmosophere and to attract members with a certain range of common interests. I've never bothered to do these things. Instead I've been passive and allowed the forum to follow its own anarchic haphazard course. Over the five years of its existence various people have come in from time to time with their own enthusiasms and obsessions and established the tenor of the place for some chunk of time, and I've rarely intervened. If I had been a good moderator, like Miles, who has very successfully molded the Ramana group into a place for people who share a certain kind of attitude, I might very well have booted you a long time ago. Oh, I see, you're just providing a spiritual service by annoying the hell out of them. Their reactions *need* addressing. It's for their own good. Well, I don't buy it. I don't think this kind of message helps people discontinue " projections from their ego consciousness. " I don't think that irritating people in this way serves any useful purpose whatsoever. My own opinion, for whatever it's worth, is that worrying about egoistic activities is not going to help anybody get enlightened. For the most part, egoistic activities are neither here nor there. Kindness and awareness are the great exceptions. Those are worth cultivating. But a person can " project " from here to the moon and it makes no difference. That's my two cents.
