Can you elaborate on aiming for is AWARENESS?

Are you wanting what Ramana said he abides in, that is, he does not think at all except

when reading or when someone asks him a question

When Ramana said to someone that if you cant take a mosquito bite how can you take Realization;

I presume that when the Kundalini rises you have to experience pain like U.G did?

Where are you at in your quest for the above?

What is your daily practice like?

Are you Realized and does it make any difference if one talks to themselves in their own mind and is

still identified with the body mind apparatus?

Do you get upset with anything that happens?

If you do get upset and lose your equipoise does that matter to you?

If this quest being selfish if one does not do community service?:

Now are you going to tell me that this list of queries is not in keeping with

the group description?

By the way I see spirituality on a sliding scale. Those that get angry and upset dont have it.

Those that see God/dess or Guru in everyone and every event are the highest.

If someone asks me to answer these I will.

Love,

KK your group pest.

p.s Since this is an open forum I am sharing it.

I promise not to say you have a BIG EGO if you answer these questions. I am sure you dont care either way.

what a lovely set of questions let me see if i can answer them all:

im not sure if im wanting of what ramana has but i do try to focus on it as much as posible as awareness and abidance within it. youll have to get Sri Ramana's exact words so i could answer that one properly. and ya when there are 'blockages' in ones system per se there can be discomfort as the Kula Kundalini rises through. its like a big force trying to get through a small passage. the passages get smaller by created tension of whatever negative the same way arteries get blocked up with fat. im not sure exactly where i am in this quest. im mostly just trying to absorb the teachings and stay in that abidance of sat chit ananda. daily practice usually varies for me just as samsara does, but i try to meditate on sat chit ananda as much as possible and give into iccha shakti, or the Lord's will. no, im still not conscious of realisation and ya i talk to myself all the time, i could be schizophrenic but it doesnt really matter, peace is all that matters. oh ya sometimes i get really

upset like a volcano errupting, because when i have some expectations or preconceived things that are *supposed* to happen and they dont, i get mad or sad. these are good lessons as to what is. i think one should do community service as much as possible because it is all you, anyways. so not doing community service is just ignoring part of you. but the tao is very mysterious so its hard to know what really to do, except to the best of your ability. theres nothing wrong with an isolated life if you understand it properly seeing that nothing is disconnected. the effect of a persons sadhana can effect positively all of his body, his individuality and his environment including all that lives in it. i dont even know what the groups description is though. ya most definitly those that see the world truly as a play of consciousness are great bodhisattvas.

take care

Have you read Self Inquiry and Self Inquiry Practice? IMO that is all you really need to understand who you are not and who you Really are.

I always think of this guy at the movies before they started to show the picture. He was talking to himself out loud. We do it to ourselves all day and part of the night. Have you read No Mind I am the Self. I typed in most of it and can email it to you. Saradamma tells about and her guru records the ending of her I thoughts.

A must read. Anyone who wants it, I will share it or join Exclusive Focus and find it in the files section.

It is easy to stay centered except when unexpected events occur. I got upset when two guys in cars got into an argument. One got out and punched the other guy. I called the police but I have to admit it freaked me out a bit. Another time during my meditation an auto hit into my wife's daughter's car and I woke her up in a sort of panic. She promptly had an asthma attack. When I can stay centered during those events I know I am finished with my spiritual work.
