Guest guest
"So the actual problem then is not that you don't have a fur coat, but ratherthe wanting of the fur coat in the first place. That's what needs be looked into.A brutal investitgative look into your own greed and see exactly what it is.Iow, your greed is your problem, not what somebody else says they have." Well, the above was what I began this long diatribe with when I was surprised you would be more concerned about "gree" rather than the killing of animals, sentient beings, to make fur coats. But, since you have invited me to your end of the rope ranch, then denied to accept into the group... I can only deduce that you are not open to hearing others questions of a spiritual nature... Anyway, it is certainly not my loss to NOT be a member of your group... So, regardless of "existential" outlook, I hope you find what you are missing in your life and stop projecting your anger and bitterness upon strangers. namaste.... D. Note: forwarded message attached. Please read the list description Derek, particularly this part: .... the " New Age " spirituality hobbyists and those merely seeking attention by gabbing about how blissful, happy, loving, smart, or even how dumb they think they are simply need not apply here. This is a list Derek for those at the end of their rope with all of THAT. Thanks, Judi

There's nothing the matter with that, but that's not my point. When you wake up in the morning, do you go back into your dream world to try and " save " it? From my point of view, it's totally absurd. I'm talking about your death and you want to busy yourself playing with animals? > But, since you have invited me to your end of the rope ranch, then denied to accept into the group... Guest guest
I asked Dipam aka Derek to stay on this what has become a unpleasant group because there is work to be dont with that too. After I read Robs seeming diatribe directed at me It was 4 something and I was about to do my walking meditation. Now I noticed that there was a slight edge to my consciounsess. In the past there was a great enterbulation happening, so as long as there are any reactions that is good work for purification. Thanks Rob and my other detractors. Also Rob please tell us when you are doing your moderator thing so I will know what is happening? With some of your posts it is obvious, other are not so obvious. Guest guest
Hi Alton, > Thanks Rob and my other detractors. What are you talking about? I'm your greatest fan. Have you forgotten the poem I wrote about you in the Ramana forum? > Also Rob please tell us when you are > doing your moderator thing so I > will know what is happening? When I say, " It's against the rules to attack people here, " I'm being the moderator. All I ever do as the moderator is say that. My whole function as moderator is to say that over and over and over. Sort of like being a kindergarten teacher. Guest guest
Thanks Rob: Please post it here too as I dont have an eidetic memory like our Beloved Ramana did. A powerful memory means a powerful mind and that makes mindfulness kick in sooner with practice. This monk Soma Loka told me that his professor type students with the great memories and powerful minds make the fastest progress in Vipassana practice. By the way about me spending so much time on the Net taking away time from practice. I have been told that I do more than most. Already 3 hours and it only 11 am here in beautiful paradise. This Buddhist stuff is working better and will make me into a GOD/DESS before I expire. You wanna bet? Now I have to tell Richard that I want to return his book that he gererously gave me. Like I am no longer interested in Realization stuff and the Ribhu Gita. I promised that I would read it each day and I think it is better to tell him no lies. Guest guest
Hi Alton, I would post that poem if I could, but it's on my computer at home, and I'm not at home, and I'm about to hop in a car and go out of town for a few days. If you remind me about it next week, I'll try to find it. > You wanna bet? Sure, I'll bet. Name the amount. > A powerful memory means a powerful mind > and that makes mindfulness kick in sooner > with practice. Did you try the bodybuilding section of your local neutriceuticals shop? Maybe there's a kind of anabolic goop you can smeer on your scalp to make your one-pointed attention get more buffed. > I promised that I would read it each day > and I think it is better to tell him no lies. Oh, definitely. We're in 100% agreement.
