The quote from that speech is as follows: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking, so other people will not feel insecure around you....when we own our power we unconsciously give others permission to own theirs."
