PRAYER

" True prayer is the mental and verbal expression of the highest

spiritual ideal. It consists not in trying to get anything from

outside, but in unfolding the highest powers that slumber within the

soul. Prayer is the expression of determinationof the individual soul

to reach the highest goal of life. It is the constant desire and aim

of attaining the highest spiritual realization. True prayer is like a

ladder by which the individual soul ascends to the world of

transcendental Reality. "
