Guest guest
The truth is that physically not a single one of us has any chance at all for surviving very long. A few decades at most and very often most of that is spent in misery and worries and knowing full well death will claim us too on some day not far away. So we have the choice: 1. We can fight and claw and exalt our puny selves. We can seek to maximize the pleasures of the senses. We can wallow in pride believing ourselves better than the next guy. We can hoard power and money and imagine that one fine day when we finally have all our wants and desires fulfilled, we can then finally be a true success and know happiness. That's the natural man's way but there is one huge problem; it doesn't work. Or we can choose option 2. We are born out of that eternal power and drama which just always IS. And we will fade back into that timeless mystery in a few years. Or even less. We don't know how much " time " we have. So why not simply accept that Eternal Existence that underlies Who and What we really are and everything we ever can be? We cannot control it but we can accept it; and it's in that acceptance we finally are truly free and all our greatest needs are met forever. --Sri Terrananda--
