Dear Paul,

This is very similar to a thought I had once... that sages like

Ramana and Nisargadatta are like 'intercoms' in a sense. Why sing

hymns to an intercom?

No offense meant, but to worship a sage like Ramana or Nisargadatta

is to worship a graven image, it is idol worship. What is to be

worshipped is Self or I-Am-ness, or there is no worship. There is

nothing else to worship and no other reason to do it.

Why people worship Ramana, but heed not his words to enquire into the

Self is utterly beyond me. People worship and worship the intercom,

and the words seem to mean nothing.

God is speaking 'through a device', but the device is more important

than the word of God!

Namaste,

Tim

It's like the pointing finger... only bigger. :-)
