This isn't to say that there isn't gratitude for 'the intercom' or even gratitude *to* 'the intercom'... But worship seems a bit excessive seen from here... The finger indeed points... there can and is gratitude for the finger, but the eyes look 'elsewhere'... And looking elsewhere, there is worship and gratitude for everything :-).
