Guest guest
Hi group just sharing some thoughts again! :-) You know the mind is very Facinating!! I perfer not to give it up, but now I am seeing it is not who I am. well........I am attached to it, but the hold it use to have on me is lessing!! Sooooo I was " thinking " about how fasinating the human episode is. It is funny how we have this life and then we make thousands and thousands of Moive's and television shows to watch about it. Made up illusions of owerselfs!! So the illusion is makeing up illusions!! The illusion likes to imanigine it is watching itself! Hahahahah ! Also all the shows are mostly about, people just doing things and we find this facinating. Wow. I am either watching a show on TV or in life or I find I am in the show! hahaha... I love to try and fiqure this stuff out, the key word to that is TRY, cause, that is all that you can do. It leads to No where! Where is really where we are... hmmmmmmmm

Not to be nit-picky, but confused by your words. How are " you " separate from " the mind? " Isn't the sense of " me " a thought or idea in the mind? Very much confused by this. > Sooooo I was " thinking " about how > fasinating the human episode is. For example, take the word " myself " -- " my self. " Are there two selves, and one owns the other? And even " itself " .. " it self " ... What it? Guest guest
Hi Tim! You address the basic illusion by which self seems to have separated from body, " thought " from " object of thought " -- by which there's a " me " having " my experience " an " I " with a " mind " , a present self and a remembered self, and an " observer " encountering " something observed " ... As this basic illusion ends, and the assorted delusions that attach, what else is there to begin or end? How real can be any beginning or ending, with no one apart to judge the situation? Where apart from one could there be to go, and who would go there? What further concern about ending illusion could there be, with no one existing apart to escape? The separation between illusion and reality is itself unreal, with no separable observer of states. For me, Tim, it was easy many years ago to see that there was a sense of " me " that was not my mind. How could I tell? I could *watch* my thoughts.....*listen to* the chattering of my mind....and realized that " me " and the object of my attention were TWO. (I know, I know....one's an illusion, blah, blah, blah. <lol> Maybe you get the point anyway?) That's the first time I knew that the 'me' that was watching was not the thoughts I was thinking. Of course I'd have to be reminded of that a couple thousand times. LOL Cheerios, Melody
