Guest guest
The attempt to end suffering requires a conditioned entity, a continuing being moving from the past into the future, and affected by conditions that negate self. When the delusion of a continuing entity ends, suffering ends, as does the illusion of being able to move from point a to point b, to get somewhere else where suffering is not ... The unconditioned is not a being, is not continuing, doesn't move from here to there, isn't a thought or a feeling, doesn't have beliefs and disbeliefs. I have only seen the end of suffering in my mind, when I choose not to belive in it anymore! I think if it can go away so easly by so called shining lite on it, it must not be real. It can feel real, but then it stops. So are feelings real?
Guest guest
Hi Tim -- When clarity is that the conditioning and the entity are not-two, there is nothing there to be deconditioned, nor can there ever be anything separate from " conditions " . So, nothing moves from a to be, from having been conditioned to being de-conditioned. The unconditioned that " all-ways " is, neither is nor is not, never was, never came into being, never will come into being, nor go out of being (or style). Blessed be, as neither being nor not-being, Dan Hi Dan, As seen from here, the conditioning and the entity are not two -- in fact it could be said they're the same thing. This makes 'deconditioning' possible... although not as a goal or ideal.
