Guest guest
Dear Elizabeth, That would still require that Cathy have the necessary software and hardware to convert a cassette tape to an .MP3 (unless an exchange through postal mail was done). I don't know if she does, we haven't discussed it any further than what's here on the list. If it turns out she wants to go thru with this, it seems to make sense to do the whole thing at once... it seems here the material could be very valuable to the public (I haven't heard of Nisargadatta's talks (other than a short videotaped sequence) being made public ANYWHERE before, although I certainly haven't heard everything, and it could very well be). I don't know either if it's just Nisargadatta, or Nisargadatta with a translator. Maybe it's both... ! 13 hours of talks is a lot of talking :-). All this is really up to Cathy... I only volunteered to do a digital cleanup so the recordings are more audible and clearer (and also to transfer from cassette to digital if she wants) -- that's the only role I would likely take in any of this. It's really her call all the way.
