Guest guest
" The Promise " ------------- If there is a 'Supreme', it will become evident. If there is no time, it will become evident. If there is no doer, it will become evident. If there is no " I, " it will become evident. If there is truth, it will become evident. What is real will become evident. That is because: What is real is always real, and what is false never was. Therefore, do not seek any of these. They will become evident. That is the 'promise', Made by the real. Let it Be. Be Still. Be.

Guest guest
In a sense, 'it' is already evident for everyone, and there's no time that it ever wasn't... In a sense too, to say 'everyone' is not the right term -- in fact there isn't anyone. As a metaphor (maybe a poor one): the fact that a film is playing, and consciousness is utterly lost in its contents... doesn't change the fact that the film is only light and sound, and 'someone' is sitting there in a theater watching it. Getting involved in dream or illusion (like a movie) doesn't change any facts. As for the deathbed scene... since no death is remembered here, nor birth, I can't verify the existence of either ;-). Sure, the appearance of deaths and births are all over the place, but " my " death or " my " birth? Heresay only. And if true, it's only the passing of an illusion, that " I was a body. " The idea " I am a child " vanished at adolescence, what difference is 'physical death'? Guest guest
Namaste All, Surely every meditation and every sleep is but a death bed? Surely that is only the movement and oscillations of energy, speaking relatively of course. Absolutely well there is nothing to ponder..ONS Tony.
