Guest guest
Example of: Flauntingly Cryptic Caught-up-in-words Negation. Message 1163 Understanding is the child of a barren woman. There is nothing to understand. And no one to understand the above. Disassociate from what? Transcend what? And who is to do............ El .. Guest guest
Dear El, It sounds more like a brief moment of " confusion. " Thought does that sometimes... ;-). Especially when a 'foolish indulgence' like Message #1158 gets posted. Not to be taken literally, but: It's nice to be dizzy. I love it when questions arise with no answers. The entire universe is a question mark, just sitting there. There's something stunningly beautiful about unanswered questions. Love and Peace, Tim
Guest guest
Tim: No thought. Confused or not confused. Question asked or answered Just an appearance in consciousness, typed out. Nothing personal at all. El Nisargadatta, Tim Gerchmez <coresite@h...> wrote: > > Dear El, > > It sounds more like a brief moment of " confusion. " > Thought does that sometimes... ;-). Guest guest
Dear el, None given, none taken (actually, unable to take, although someone's likely to put that to the test now that it's been said ;-). Q: In that mind, the problem of joy and sorrow exist no longer? NM: Not as we know them, as desirable or repugnant. It becomes rather a question of love seeking expression and meeting with obstacles. The inclusive mind is love in action, battling against circumstances, initially frustrated, ultimately victorious. Q: Between the spirit and the body, is it love that provides the bridge? NM: What else? Mind creates the abyss, the heart crosses it.
