Dear List,

Within the manifest, the Beingness or " I Am " is everywhere, if one

cares to look. A dog barks and the bark states " I Am. " The meow of

a cat is stating clearly, " I Am. " A cow moos, declaring the

Beingness. Birds chirp " I Am, I Am, I Am. "

Even the silent creatures, the worms and the germs are shouting out

the Beingness so loudly, it is deafening. All of the manifest,

including 'this' body is shouting " I Am. "

The Beingness is declaring itself everywhere. To turn an ear only to

the Beingness and keep listening until nothing else is heard is to

discern the " non-beingness " or the Supreme State, as Maharaj puts it.

But it takes an ear first for the Beingness, and it is so much

everywhere, in everything. Learning to hear, sense, smell, taste,

touch the Beingness is to come to know the Beingness as 'the only

thing'.

Ultimately things are dreamlike and it becomes possible to perceive

it that way. Examining a fork or a cup closely, it has

no 'solidity', it appears quite dreamlike. It depends absolutely on

the Beingness for its appearance. Without the Beingness it is not

there at all.

The exact point where the non-beingness explodes as the Beingness is

the 'door' to the " Supreme. " This is why the name " Omkara " was

chosen... Omkara is the door, the 'reconciliation point' between the

non-beingness and the beingness. The door swings 'both ways'.

Namaste,

Omkara
