Guest guest
Hi Jan, As a test, here's one proposed... is it possible to have 'hurt feelings'? Is there possibility of a perception of " personal attack " and thus a 'hurt feeling' resulting from 'ego-reaction' (maybe even leading to anger and desire to 'lash back')? The test you proposed, " Is there still the possibility of fear " can't necessarily be verified. It requires a 'perceiver' or 'witness of fear' in order to verify it. Also, even amoeba have an automatic reaction to move away from 'irritating stimulus' -- how to explain this? It could potentially be labeled 'fear'. If there are 'hurt feelings' however, there is always a 'default perceiver' of those feelings ('me'), and an automatic reaction can always be noted by that 'perceiver'. It is also a spontaneous, uncontrollable 'reaction' that happens immediately after perception of 'personal attack'. Anyway, that's 'my' proposed 'test'. If no trace of 'hurt feelings' or perception of 'personal attack', that's enough of an indication there is nobody to 'feel hurt'.
