Guest guest
Dear Jessica El and all Thanks for the postings, the comments about Balseka and what denotes a true sage seem to ring true. When one looks at Socrates and Plato one sees an observation by one body mind complex giving an idea of what the other was saying. But Socrates understood that it is the spoken word that penetrates and disperses ignorance not the written word. This does not mean to say that the written word is of no value but is just less of a pointer than the spoken word. Most sages leave it to others to relay the written word which seems to trigger the urge in some jivas for the search for truth. The stumbling block in this body mind complex is that it wants to be in the presence of a sage and here the words as they arrive into the jnani. So the dream perpetuates itself and the search prolongs because of a false desire by an I that thinks it lives. Once again thank you all for your postings for the sincerity of the search for truth seems ever present in all postings. love and best wishes peter
