Namaste... much of 'the path' here has consisted of discrimination ('innate tendencies' were just right for that)... at least until sometime recently when a 'reversal of perspective' happened (I don't know what else to call it) -- and an experience that was similar in many ways to Ramana's description of his " Realization " -- the death- like experience. After that, there's no doer anymore and nobody walking a path. Something like at first, approaching a jet engine, and when getting too close, the jet will pull automatically. <snip> > Which one is correct? Nisargadatta recommends, Papaji recommends, Ramana recommends, Zen Buddhism recommends: " Be still. " There's no simpler or 'more effective' way :-). But sometimes in the modern lifestyle (where thought has to keep spinning, even at work) it may involve real sacrifices (in 'my case' life just led to it -- call it destiny, luck, whatever).
