Guest guest
Dear List, Everywhere, the beingness keeps crying " I am! I am! " Not in voice of course, but in/as consciousness. It cries and cries from every multitudinous living organism, the 'touch of beingness' continues to assert and assert and assert, to cry out its existence, and the 'crying out' of it *is* the manifest multitude. Inanimate objects, on the other hand, make no cry, but are simply perceived/apperceived as 'reality slightly out of balance'. Objects are not quite solid... always appearing somewhat dreamlike and misty, to tap an object is to realize its imbalanced nature, its 'not-quite-solidity', the 'touch of imbalance'. All the while, perfect clarity floods from everywhere, 'drowning out' the incessant humming cry of the beingness and the static imbalance of objects... 'outshining' all of it while groundlessly supporting all of it. Because reality is groundless and empty, because of 'nonexistence' there can be 'existence'. Finally, all of this merges together on some level and is not heard, sensed, perceived, apperceived or known (at least not in the usual 'sequential' fashion). Guest guest
I have no doubt this is true but it continues to be one of my greatest challenges. Every afternoon my body experiences two hours of Soaps on one TV set and Barney on another, both at high volume. It challenges me. :-) Beck At 09:03 AM 5/16/01 , you wrote: The hustle bustle is quietitude, if you have no opinion about it. Indeed. Where is hustle bustle not, where you can move to, and realize profound Truths. We normally associate "hustle bustle" to the market place, trying to make a living, making a relationship work etc. Lying on your ass, chewing blades of grass, is "one" out of hustle bustle? ------> Welcome back Sandeep.
