Guest guest
Dear List, It's pretty clear I'm not a sage (not a single 'disciple' here), but i'm going to " throw myself out " of the Nisargadatta list! :-). It's the 'same old story' here... the old Gurdjieff quote still applies as always: " A man will give up whatever pleasures you like, but he will not give up his suffering. " Nor will 'he', apparently, 'just be'. Nobody on this list seems willing to 'practice what they preach'. Nisargadatta is lauded, but nobody is willing to 'just be, prior to personality' or 'remain with the beingness'. It seems clear, not many even know what he meant by 'the beingness'! Nobody seems to know that 'they are'. The most obvious fact, that of consciousness or 'beingness' seems to be overlooked. Perhaps I'll return one of these days... who's to say when... whoever was doing all the posting of the Nisargadatta material before I d can go back to it... nobody actually does what Nisargadatta says to do, why bother. Despite the fact that he always said " I trusted my Guru and did what he said, " nobody here does. It's no surprise. Nobody on any of the Ramana lists is enquiring " Who am I? " either. No trust, no surrender. No nothing. <Shrug>. Enjoy :-). Bye. Namaste, Tim
