Guest guest
Sanctuary is the brief respite between the self-appointed guru's vow of silence and his immediate breach of it. A sanctuary space? The "purpose" of the body is to function in the world... and the "purpose" to function in the world is to meet the "needs" of the body! Please 'explain' this useless, futile, empty and meaningless cycle before talking of "sanctuaries" -- or call whatever is free of this cycle "Sanctuary," perhaps. Guest guest
Hi Cathy, There's room :-). It's like this on other lists too, there are 500+ members of the NondualitySalon and maybe 10-15 people who post on a " good week. " Most members probably just read the Emails, and so a good focus ( " imo " ) might be posting more Nisargadatta material. Which I'll be happy to contribute to doing. I seem to have " kicked myself back on, " so as long as the moderator doesn't consider 'my presence' too much of a burden i will be posting very little here... mostly Nisardatta material. I'm tired of the " spiritual lists " and will be posting very little 'my own material' here anymore. I don't differentiate between the body and the world, and make no secret of the fact that " as seen here " there's no 'purpose' for either of these. Then again, the entire existence is a sanctuary, seen from here. Seems like 'my response' pissed a few people off, i even got a private Email or two about it. Oh well... never have been much of a crowd-pleaser ;-). Like " the man " himself, the day of death and the disappearance of consciousness and " the time factor " will be a day of celebration 'here'. Likewise the final vestiges of any 'personality' or illusion of 'the person'.
