Guest guest
The big joke is, I can sit here and know this is true - absolutely know it - and still not see it. It is like some of the optical illusion photographs. Someone whom I trust completely can tell me what is there, and I still won't see it. Then, all of a sudden, there it is! But until that moment, nothing. And all of the efforting in the world won't bring it - neither does it push it away. It just happens when it happens. What I also know is, I won't see the picture if I'm not looking at the print - which is why I keep practicing, knowing that someday, ... In the meantime, I simply enjoy the improvement in mental attitude and decrease in suffering that practicing brings me. That, in itself, is enough. " We think that there is something hiding our reality and that it must be destroyed before the reality is gained. It is ridiculous. A day will dawn when you will yourself laugh at your past efforts. That which will be on the day you laugh is also here and now. " -- Sri Ramana Maharshi Sponsor
