I haven't read Castanedas for many years, but I do recall this

passage. This is helpful to me; for the past year and a half, my

(current) wife has been playing the role of " petty tyrant " in my life,

and been a real thorn in my side. The idea that this is " required "

makes it a little easier to bear.

 

I just hope it doesn't have to go on too much longer:)
