Guest guest
Hi KKT, Are you familiar with the phrase, " a finger pointing at the moon? " That's all anything like " beyond the mind " is -- a " pointer. " One can grab ahold of the finger (or even " suck on it " ) or simply " look " where the pointer seems to indicate -- " see the moon. " So to make an argument out of phrases such as " beyond the mind " has to be utterly ridiculous :-). It may be a strategy for the continuance of " the mind, " or there may be a fear of " looking at the moon. " Or a fear of cessation of thought. Or a fear of 'hypnosis' (yet another mental idea). The mind or the " I " or the " small self " -- whatever term you want to use -- is essentially just fear -- a sort of contraction. You've been on these lists long enough, i would be quite surprised if you didn't know all of this already. So why the " vain argumentation? " :-) Peace, Tim
Guest guest
Tim: Manuel gave me a good example of " beyond the mind " yesterday, unknowingly. He was pleasantly contemplating " the day before he was conceived. " El
