One of U.G. Krishnamurti's main 'points', and a very good one indeed. Also, Nisargadatta talks quite a bit about it, although not with as much emphasis. The Beingness (life) is immortal... and " the Supreme " outside of time and space altogether (so not cognizable, not much worthy of discussing since nothing can be said :-). At least according to Nisargadatta (it makes sense, although i won't turn it into a belief), nothing dies except " the person " or " the personality " -- an imaginary construct which can just as easily 'die' while the body lives. The assumption would be that in the case of 'Realization' the 'death' happens before that of the body -- in any other case, simultaneously with the body.
