Reality is already as " pure " as it will ever get. Talk of " sheaths "

and such is ignorance only.

There is nothing to add, and there is nothing to take away from the

Self. There is nothing to do and there is nowhere to go.

In order to realize this, simply find the " Inner Guru " or Sadguru,

which is the feeling " I Am " -- then remain with that Guru. The

Sadguru will take care of everything.

Hi Tim:

I have been having what can be described as psychic attacks.

Seems there is some one thing that doesn't want me to be pure.

Namaste All,

That is true but it is only intellectual speculation without a purfied

Buddhi. The process of self enquiry will purify if it is used as a

sadhana and a meditation on the God form 'I'.....ONS.....Tony.

Can you describe the symptoms?

The " me " will never be pure. The absence of the " me " is 'purity',

the " me " only wants to continue (to suffer). The " me's " persistent

attempts to escape suffering only increase suffering.

I repeat, the Sadguru will take care of everything...

including " purifying the Buddhi. " No " me " or " small self " can purify

anything, because it is itself a sort of 'stain' on Reality.

Only the Self can take you to the Self. Surrender to the Sadguru is

all that is required. Intellectual speculation is entirely a moot

point if surrender is complete. Just find the Sadguru (which is

beyond the mind) and remain with it.

This time you have really touched the Sadguru deep down to fetch a

pearl like this one - really, there is nothing more than what you

surfaced!

Psychic attacks are thoughts and feelings telling

me that I am a worthless piece of crap. They give

me a tight chest, a churning stomach, and sore muscles

all over my body. They wake me up at 3:00 in the morning

and I have to get up and do something to stop the suffering

they rain down on me. They are strong. They are relentless.

Just when I think that I have overcome them, they sneak in

and take over my life. I make a conscious decision to do

this or that and the very next moment they are telling me

what a fool I am.

I am hanging on and hanging in by a very bare thread that

thankfully has some elasticity or it would have snapped by

now.

Thanks Tim...you have been much help to me the last few years.

I appreciate your friendship.

Hi John:

I don't know.

I just know that there are many

negative and hateful thoughts swirling around

that seem to want to cling to me.

Maybe I need to be exorcised?

Anyone have any knowledge about that?

Peace,

Michael

Michael:

Do you have a Guru? A Guru mantra? I pray and chant a mantra. If I

wake up at night, I use it as an opportunity to pray. The mantra

does purify. The Guru or Grace of God does purify. Where do you

live? If interested, you could go to one of our satsangs (Siddha

Yoga). It is possible that it would click with you.

Chanting God's name is powerful medicine. As far as drugs go, I

think they are best avoided. I believe the pain is good because it

shows where the work needs to be done. One thing I do is tell myself

the pain is God's Love removing impurities.

If you are interested in the Guru or God's Name, let me know and I

can point you in the right direction.

Another great way of getting exorcized is through the 12 step groups

such as AA. But unless you want to stop drinking, it may not be for

you.

Namaste Tim et al,

The 'I' mentioned here is the true and only 'I', this would equate

with the expression Sadguru. Which from a Nirguna apect doesn't exist

either. If one believes in a 'Self', it is the Saguna Brahman concept.

Many teachers talked about the Bliss of the Self, for their audiences

sake. For Bliss is an attribute and therefore the Saguna.

Again without purfication sadhana to the meditative level, the mind

may intellectually know this but be unable to 'realise it'. Both Non

dual Advaita and Vipassana of the Buddha emphasise this, and it is

only logical to remove impedimentary vibrations. This is why 'Who am

I?', must be a meditative sadhana to develop this feeling, otherwise

it is superficial verbal non dualism.

Om Namah Sivaya...Tony.

Re: There is nothing to purify

Hi Tim ,

Here we go round and round, beating around the bush.

Because of the duality of language anything

said directly about 'It' -call it God, Truth, Sadguru -

is totally misleading.

What some people, especially Sandeep, has been tirelessly

trying to point out to you all along is - just who the hell is

supposed to find the sadguru ?

This 'thing' happens when 'you' are absent and as

such you will never find it, much less to remain with it.

In fact, as far as 'you' are concerned there is never

nor will there ever be 'Truth', 'Enlightenment' or 'Sadguru',

within or without.

It is all bogus, fictitious, imaginary, a massive hallucination..

In simple language, what you are describing or motivating

the seeker to acquire *does not in fact exist*.

There is no truth, nothing beyond your mind, it is all your invention.

Why are you instrumental in this (international) conspiracy of

setting up others on an impossible mission ?

:)

There is nothing to purify

> Why do you say that it obstructs your natural intelligence from

> Maybe the mind obstructs the heart from unfolding?

What people usually refer to as 'heart', maybe their 'vital

propensities', their 'heart's desire'.

The actual heart is always pumping blood, my friend.

The mind, if there is really such, can 'eat it's heart out',

so to speak, but cannot affect it one iota.

Maybe enough for today ?
