Guest guest
Not that anything needs to be added, but I strongly agree with with Tim re: panic, symptoms, and SSRI's. Do these " thoughts and feelings " ever have audible voices? -mort Nisargadatta, " Omkara " <coresite@h...> wrote: > > Dear Michael, > > Nisargadatta, Michael <michael@p...> wrote: > > Psychic attacks are thoughts and feelings telling > > me that I am a worthless piece of crap. Guest guest
Hi Mort: Yes they have audible voices and they can also appear as " real " people, places and things. They disguise themselves as reality but seen in retrospect they are merely fabrications of my mind. Yesterday I was doing some work on my computer, cutting and pasting. I noticed my mind repeating control c, control v, etc. , immediately following were thoughts about how stupid it was to do this and that I should know better, these thoughts started snowballing until I had to get up from the computer and go outside and breathe because of the anxiety they were producing. It may be some compulsive obsessive disorder as I have read about the way this disorder creates a constant checking, such as washing the hands until they are raw, coming back home to be sure you didn't leave the stove on, etc. My hope here is that by giving these voices a name as I am doing on this list that I will no longer fear them because I have learned that resisting them only makes them stronger and nastier. I know it's hard for someone who has not gone through this to understand or empathise. Yet, I sense some very caring individuals on this list and that helps me to loosen my fear of disclosure.
