Guest guest
Hi Dan, It's all nostalgia... what's the difference between " 20 years ago " and " five minutes ago? " That's why many of the sages (and 'myself') put an emphasis on such things as " unattachment, " " desirelessness " and " aloofness " or " disinterest. " The less interesting " the world " (which consists entirely of past remembrances), the more the 'essential Now' (devoid of past, present and future) tends to " reveal itself " in the absence of distractions.
