Guest guest
The post from Cathy and followup post indicate a core aspect of Maharaj's teaching that has been under reported and under contemplated. At least in 1979 he returned again and again to statements such as " I speak of only one thing, the knowedge I Am " , " I can only tell you the truth about who you are, but you don't want that. You say, 'Oh Maharaj, I have traveled so far, I have done this Sadhana, and that Sadhana, you must give me something.' I offer you everthing, but you don't want it. What is to be done? Very good, take this, take that, what does it matter? " He tells us the Absolute Truth, demonstrated in his everday activities Absolute Being, demonstrated that he would not be constrained by any dogma; demanded only one thing, that we understand what he is and that there is no differance between him and ourselves. But can we do that, can we believe that we are that absolute? So much easier to 'take this, take that'....john --- Nisargadatta wrote: >
