At first I read the quote above to say: As A = B So B = A Where B here is the word " One " . It occured to me that the first " one " I take to mean singleness or whole, and the second " one " I take to mean self or individual. I guess it suggests that ultimately, the self (individual) = the Self (whole). Expressed this way, it seems like pretty basic Advaita. I guess I'm still having trouble with what, in my concept at least, are two different meanings of the word " one " . -- John
