Guest guest
C: What if there was never a beginning and everything exists/or doesn't at all/no time forever. That is the greatest challenge to my mind. caiti D: Yes. A beginning starts because there is someone there to notice it. Where did that someone begin? A beginning requires conditions that formulate the beginning. Where did those conditions begin? There is only the beginningless and endless. Nothing begins or ends, except conceptually. Even concepts don't begin or end, except conceptually ;-) The greatest challenge to mind is that nothing the mind asserts as existing or not existing, including mind and body, either exists nor doesn't exist. It's not that this computer screen and the words on it don't exist. It's that the computer screen, words, and observer are the same thing, a thing which neither exists nor doesn't exist, a thing that is no-thing.
