Guest guest
I have always regarded Maharaj's Mahasamadhi day as his Last Laugh! It was twenty years ago today... I have been to the place where Maharaj was cremated. When I visited Maharaj in 1978, my translator took me to the place where his Guru, Siddharameshwar was buried. We did a puja their and it was very profound. Towards the back, where you could see the Arabian Sea was the place where the funeral pyers were erected. Supposedly, when Maharaj dropped his body, they took it on the back of a flat bed truck; every one in the neighborhood came out to say good bye. There was a band playing. Maharaj had little patience toward the last few years of his life, with little voice and energy he only wanted to impart the Absolute. He wasn't interested in an fooling around. Maharaj's Presence feels very alive and is guiding us even now. May It Continue Unabated!
