Guest guest
Winkle out apperception of being from the termite mound of conceptual doing. You have to do something, simple, yet oh so difficult. Why? Because you are in it. You are doing and looking and trying. Why? Again, because you are. You are picking and choosing - accepting and rejecting. This is mine that is yours - relationship? Hardly! Having heard of the path, seeking, god, and the holy grail of enlightenment. You start off as if in a race. The prize is so shiny and wonderful to contemplate. How can you resist running after it? The blue ribbon is just out of reach. You want it so bad that you begin to fantasize your moment in the sun. And you have great dreams, experiences, disappointments, and so on and so on and so on. The experiences! Ah yes. The experiences... Wrap them up in a shiny box festooned with colorful ribbons. Hold that box in one hand and the universe in the other. hahahah! Without the experiences how could you have come this far? You have been given the best directions to the house where the party is going full tilt! And there you stand at the door. Too timid even to knock let alone barge on in and join the fun. What a bittersweet sight you make. So pathetic or confused or amazed the looks on your face! A little tear hangs in the corner of my eye and all I can do is smile and wait for you. You see this illusion? It is not for nothing. The cacophony of the calliope in the parade that seems to be passing by calls out for you to dance. You are included in the parade and don't even know it. All this mushy stuff is fine. But it offers little in the way of help. The distractions are so great and I'm afraid that my babbling merely adds to it. Ah, well. Sure, it has been said that the way that can be spoken is not the way. Oh, that Lao Tzu was such a liar! What he couldn't tell you was this. Speaking or not speking is all the same. He tried to tell you that there is no difference between you and the path. But he knew even that was too much. There is an end to seeking. Stop imagining what it will be like. That attitude - hasn't it gone on long enough? Be the rare one to take umbrage with the shadow chasing that is your life. Then laugh at it all! Ah, dear heart. You are the enchantment that you seek.
