Hya Anthony,

Well yes and no. Have a look at this essay that's probably a bit more

comprehensive on this particular subject.

Namaste Dave,

I think there are different levels of religion and again different

levels of spirituality, both not being necessarily the same

thing...ONS..Tony.

Hi Anthony,

The essay offers an alternate view, complementing

or negating some of what you were saying,

and by all means not the final or whole truth.

But back to your point...

Are you sure there is a difference between

religion and spirituality?

Maybe both are the same, having been artificially

invented, arbitrarily divided..levels upon levels,..

for convenience of course but ultimately resulting in

personal schizophrenia and group psychosis as evidenced

by current events.

In fact such division may not actually exist.

'What is' - The nature of how things truly are

seems to suggest that nothing is fixed, nothing's permanent..

so what's this thing called 'Spirit' ?

If ultimately there's nothing like eternal 'Spirit' or 'Soul'

then what to say of 'Spiritual life' and by extension

religion ?

:)

Tony wrote [[i think there are different levels of religion and again

** " Yes " to the former because religion is a man-made

construct. " No " to the latter because spirit simply IS. Now,

granted, it too is interpreted, but the entire focus is on NOT

interpreting spirit.

Namaste Dave,

It is all relative, in a way religion can be a form of spirituality.

IMO spirituality has some conscious personal effort, whereas religion

seems to be following the dictates of other's egos.

There is only one soul/spirit in the universe, but what passes for

spirituality is practise of some kind.

Ultimately this spirit or saguna is also unreal, but for arguments

sake we need concepts etc whilst we are still

unrealised....ONS...Tony.
