Guest guest
Languages are symbols "in" the Observer's "mind"... To the seer Who "sees" the symbols, they "can" have a meaning.... So, with "thisinmind" let's see.... E - "means "and" in the "portuguese" set of mental symbols AGORA - "meansnow" also in "portuguese" .... ("three dot in line) "means" "what's going to happen" Translating in a free style "e-agora..." could mean: "and now....." or "what's gonna happen now is....." The "idea" is to "prepare" the listener's mind to something that could develop or happening after the "reading" of this "ink over a blank sheet".... Of course, all of this is imaginary... All the "worldoutside" the "innerme" is imaginary... All the "worlds" are only "me". There's nothing more real than illusions.... As the old Ramana Maharshi once "said": God is the only reality The world is an illusion God is the world. The seer cannot sees "Him"self as the knife cannot cuts itself. Only "imaginating" himself "as" separated ... - elizabeth_wells2001 Nisargadatta Tuesday, November 06, 2001 4:37 PM Definition of "AGORA" Webster's Revised UnabridgedDictionary (1913)Agora \Ag"o*ra\ ([a^]g"[-o]*r[.a]), n. Guest guest
To "look" to "things" that "has" a "begining" or an "end" demands a "mind", a "thing" and a "seer" to "look". With "no-mind" there is no "begining" , "no-ending" and "no-thing" to be seen ..... When "I" "look" to "my-Self" "Thingsappears" to have a "begining" and an "end" ... "Thiscan" BE "calledmind".... The "mind" also exists "in-side" the SELF, The REAL Since the REAL is the only thing that IS! "Good" and "evil" are also "categories" of "looking" through this lenses called "mind" The point is not that there are "no-things" but that in "Reality" there are only the "Seeing" There's no seer and there is no saw (thing) , only the Seeing! .. PS: Could I please ask the moderators to liberate html texts on the e-mails??? There are so many recurses as underline, colors, bold that coul help to express different states of perception, seeing and so on that I think it could helps on expressing better the non-expressable and silent reality, the center of the wheel... 8-) thanks a lot .. - elizabeth_wells2001 Nisargadatta Wednesday, November 07, 2001 1:36 AM Re: Definition of "AGORA" Definition of "e-agora..." in portuguese"and now....." or "what's gonna happen now is....."--------------------Whatever.If it ends up with No Mind, like it all began, that is good.El

Guest guest
Moderators & Friends, PS: Could I please ask the moderators to liberate html texts on the e- mails??? There are so many recurses as underline, colors, bold that coul help to express different states of perception, seeing and so on that I think it could helps on expressing better the non-expressable and silent reality, the center of the wheel... 8-) ditto. This would allow a lot more expression and style to our posts, and might even cut down on the need for " Smileys " , Hmmm? ;-)? > If it ends up with No Mind, > like it all began, > that is good. If it ends up with a more expressive No Mind, like it all began, That is better! Dualistically nondual, yours in the bonds, eric Nisargadatta, " E-AGORA...
